I'm very shy and it took me over 9 years to finally summon the courage to learn Greek. Kristina is a brilliant tutor. She is very patient and explains things in different ways to make sure you understand before moving on to next lesson. There's lots of extra sentences associated with each main lesson and, with a final in-group chat in each lesson, it helps me remember things more easily.

I have been trying to learn Greek on and off for 10 years. Since starting with Kristina everything I had learned makes so much more sense, and I have learned so much that I didn't know or quite understand. Kristina has a teaching style and method that is perfect for me and she is obviously very experienced. I now feel far more comfortable with what I have learned so far and I am looking forward to learning so much more.

Kristina is a fab teacher. Kind, empathetic & very patient! Greek is a tricky language to learn yet within a couple of sessions I was able to put together simple sentences. Kristina understands that whilst learning the alphabet and grammar is essential, it is also important for learners to feel they can actually have very basic conversations. Kristina ensures that every session has us all talking Greek whilst learning new words and grammar. There is no pressure, no embarrassment — in fact we learn more from mistakes when we mispronounce words. The online classes are small & friendly and I have enjoyed every lesson so far. I'm so pleased I found this group and highly recommend these classes.

I am thoroughly enjoying my group Greek lessons via Zoom with Kristina Unsworth. Kristina has a great talent for teaching. She has a lovely gentle manner. Kristina provides a positive and fun approach to learning, whilst reinforcing the importance of correct grammar and pronunciation.
